We decided to go with the data supplied by the neighborhood precincts in NYC over those supplied by the data provided by other sources dealing with security systems for sale to the public.

    This is the ranking in accordance with Forest Hills/Rego Park having the lowest number of crimes in a 12 month period with Morris Park/Pelham Gardens/Bronxwood neighborhoods also having comparably low crime rates with the rest of the state, but still the highest on our list of the safest places to live in New York City.
